Author Topic: Would you save prey from a predator (pets dont count)  (Read 4235 times)

/title

I was binge-watching vids about nature and came across a few that involved some kind of cute animal getting eaten, and whenever it did, people in the comments were going off about how terrible of a human being the cameraman was for not barging in and saving it from the mean ol' predator

so, would you interfere if you saw something like that happen? Say, a duckling about to be snatched by another bird. Personally I wouldn't, predators have to eat too and if I save its prey, then its just gonna go kill something else, making the action of saving the duckling pointless because something still died

and no saving a pet doesn't count because that's just you defending your own.

no because it's the circle of life

Impossible not to. You alter nature merely by existing.

mother nature sucks my long richard good and clean

i mean would you jump into a situation between two wild animals to alter its outcome

Probably not. I don't have the skill, money, or will to go saving squirrels on the side of the road.

yes but only so i can take it home and eat it myself

circle of life more like circle of food

it depends on if the prey is my pet
