dude can't even do a forgetin tutorial holy stuff

also: cuphead looks dope

roblox and minecraft teach you these basic loving things, just run on a rock or some stuff so you go higher when you jump. this is literally handicapped and the fact that he cant accept hes bad at this one game with a tutorial is astonishing.

ornstein and smough are like the dark souls of bosses

god I saw the actual video of him playing and
a minute and a half? to figure out a tutorial?? where the instructions were literally printed clearly on the screen???

it's like a person that can't read going to book club

I understand what he means. He associated Item A (the Cube) with Mechanic A (Jump) and Item B (the Cylinder) with Mechanic B (Dash). This is typically a problem for low skill/non gamers who've not practiced mechanic-collapsing (grouping two or more mechanics into one technique to achieve a goal, such as JUMPing on a Goomba's HEAD to kill it in Mario).

Easiest resolution for the benefit of all players is that the tutorial should have individually taught the jump, then the dash and then the combination of jumping and dashing together, similar to how Mario teaches its concepts.
