I'll try using Adobe Soundbooth instead of Audacity

Uh Audacity works fine with wav files. Make sure you have download sounds enabled..

Soundbooth made no difference, and I do have download sounds enabled.

I got it working w/no trouble.  All I had to do was change the sounds to 16-bit mono signed wav w/Audacity.

Another thing you could check is the folder heirarchy.  I've had trouble getting changes to take place if I have two copies of the same add-on.
In my case it was like:
>Addons
==>Script_Wazzup
====>description.txt
====>server.cs
====>Script_Wazzup.zip
======>description.txt
======>server.cs

It was executing the add-on in the zip file, instead of the one I was modifying, which was just in a regular folder.

Nevermind, I figured it out. I created a new zip file and moved the sounds, the server.cs, and the description to the new zip folder. I'm not sure why this fixed it, but it did. Thank you all for your help. :-)
