This is what makes the difference between a toy and controlled entertainment.
A kid can use a Blu-Ray player and an adult can use a Blu-Ray player, but if the Blu-Rays that are too high for him to reach/are in a locked door are too mature for him, then he can only use his kid friendly Blu-Rays. IE: Controlled Entertainment.

Toys don't need parental supervision or parental controls.
