Do a runthrough with AdwCleaner and see if it finds anything. Malwarebytes can be pretty decent but it doesn't catch everything unfortunately

I have the same issue FF will load the first tab but then i have to open a new window for it to load any other pages
My firefox also updated this morning so idk if they broke something or what

firefox is working just fine for me

why would you even uninstall ie? it's not intrusive and it doesn't take up a lot of space.
it's useful as an emergency browser when everything else fails.

check through your downloads folder for a firefox installer, you may be able to uninstall then reinstall from there.
alternatively, you could download the firefox installer (or another browser installer) on a different computer, put that installer on a usb drive, then copy the installer onto your main computer.
