Author Topic: Graphical Glitches  (Read 1041 times)

Lately I've been having strange glitches popping up in-game every few minutes. There are several distinct glitches that I'll point out; a strange glitch that makes every polygon/brick look like it's painted with a swirl effect, sped up 3 fold. Another happens several times every day: a glitch that makes things like doors, weapons and some kinds of bricks stretch into triangular shapes that meet in the center of the screen. Another creates a kind of lattice shape made of black lines that hovers right below my crosshair.

I've noticed that these only happen in Blockland, making it certain that this isn't a hardware problem.

Any advise on how to fix it, or what's going wrong?

(also, I should add that alt-tabbing eliminates the glitches for a short period of time)

Memory issues?

Update your drivers again.

Really sorry for the bump, but I got a picture of one of the glitches (didn't think they'd show up in screenies).

Notice the large black streak coming from the clock, and the wall textures are somewhat scrambled. It's normally worse.

Clipage. No not a movie.

Ok, after consulting my brothers, I've realized the problem; my video card is dying.

Luckily I have 2 spares in my dad's desk drawer. Thanks for the help anyway, though.

I have a better picture (similar things happen), I'll post later.

Ok my real only suggestion is to completely remove your display drivers (Like delete any other install etc that may interfere with a new install) download the latest drivers and install them.
