if I were to re-enlist and it wasn't with the army, it'd definitely be air force. their living conditions are so much better

Did the DIs yell at you a lot? And how was the day to day life in basic?

me specifically, no, but my platoon got stuff on yeah lol
daily life was 0500 wakeup, 0530 first formation, PT until like 0700 and then we ate breakfast, after breakfast we'd start training for the day. theres red white and blue phases in basic, red phase for us had a lot of obstacle courses and teamwork stuff, white phase is basically just going to the range everyday and shooting, blue phase we had FTX 2 and FTX 3 which are terrible days and I'm glad to be over that. around 1200 we ate lunch, would go back to training, then usually come back to the barracks around 1600 and eat dinner at 1700, then finish up whatever we need to do, free time was at 1930 but we rarely even got any. 2030 was final formation, 2130 lights out.

im here!!! I am alive and well, stuff was easy
+ I actually graduate tomorrow but today's family day and stuff. ama!!

army basic should be shorter goddammit you can cram all of the stuff we learned into two weeks
navy and airforce basic are only 8 weeks >:(

EDIT: its probably worth mentioning that hurricane Irma hit me while I was in basic and it sucked ass
