I started making this yesterday; it's currently rising in the oven. I had to chop a bit off the chocolate babka because it was a little too large to fit in the pan, but rather than let them go to waste, we threw them into the toaster oven:



Will post pics of the finished result in a few hours :)

the actual dessert is pretty different, these are just bits that i chopped off and baked early

update: they have finished rising and will enter the oven soon are now in the oven
