Author Topic: Cannot Load Servers in Server Browser.  (Read 2521 times)

Like the title says, I am unable to actually load servers in the server browser. Its blank. When I click Query Internet I get the loading bar, and then it just freezes at the end. At first I figured I just needed to wait a bit and let it sit there, so I did. For about 2 hours. Came back and it was still just frozen there. Ive tried querying LAN and then querying Internet to see if that would "refresh" it and help it load but that didnt work. Ive also tried completely uninstalling blockland and reinstalling it with no success. I know that I can still join servers because I can use the connect to ip button, and I can also join friends through steam. Ive been playing blockland for years and never seen this problem, any help would be greatly appreciated. Attached is a picture of the frozen loading bar.

can you access http://master2.blockland.us/
do you have any addons that might be interfering?

Sometimes you have to click cancel then click query internet again. At least I used to have to do that.

Phflack, Yes, I can access the master server, and see the servers, and no, not that I know of. It had been working fine, and I didnt install any new addons before it started happening.

Shift Kitty, believe me, ive been doing that almost nonstop

I just installed fall creators update and I have the same issue I even turned the firewall off added special rules to fire wall also I can load this page http://master2.blockland.us/ So I am thinking this is due to the update any help here would be awesome!

I can manually Copy and Paste IP address from master into game and I can connect to a server and play.

Alright, I have found a "fix" of sorts. While I didnt add any addons, taking them all out fixed it. I added them back in and it still works.
Try removing all but the base addons, starting blockland and refreshing the server list. Then exit blockland and put all the addons back, restarting blockland and refreshing again. It should work, did for me anyways.

Deleting add ons did not work for me.. TIA

Deleting add ons did not work for me.. TIA
um, you're querying the LAN browser not the internet

I hit that since it gets stuck in query internet. I promise I know to hit Query internet! The bar half loads and it hangs so I hit the lan to get it unstuck. Fresh log thou

Try this again!!! With a youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OONcsDs_bho

Remove Blockland Glass out of the folder and restart Blockland, see if it fixes.

Good thought but nope

run a trace, basically in console put in trace(1); before hitting the "query internet" button
