Author Topic: PLEASE!!! help me find a lost 3D animated short from a long time ago  (Read 1402 times)

ok this sounds really stupid but for like 10 or so years i've been trying to remember a 3d animated short that I saw when I was younger on a site like Metacafe or Dailymotion. i can't remember it perfectly but i'll say what i know. there was a balloon cart i think and it rolled down a hill and stuff and eventually the strings got cut and it was like a happy ending because the balloons weren't tied down anymore. there were no people, no voices, and the balloons couldn't talk, there was only music and sound effects probably. it's from the early 2000's and I can't find any information on it. PLEASE help me find it, it's killing me.

absolute smackdown

the way google is now it's so handicapped you can spend 4 hours googling specific key words and still not find what the forget you are looking for. I actually spent about 4 hours one day searching for a movie that I couldn't remember the title of. Google kept spitting me the same dumb stuff over and over and over again I just got fed up and said screw it. 2 days later it was still bugging the stuff out of me so I went at it again, using almost the same keywords as last time and BING!(no pun intended) It was right . loving. there.

Go ahead, I challenge you: Go to google and search "kids parents murder day of comet movie" or "movie where kids parents die comet passes earth" or even "kids parents die after halley's comet movie" and look at the movies that pop up. NONE OF THOSE ARE THE MOVIE I WAS LOOKING FOR

Now try "movie where kids parents die halleys comet" AND THERE IT IS. DEAD SHADOWS: a movie I literally spent way too loving long trying to find with damn near the EXACT same KEYWORDS. As a matter of fact, not even "kids parents die halleys comet movie" works!
only putting MOVIE WHERE at the beginning changes the search results.

to sum it up:
GOOGLE IS BROKEN - YOU WILL PLAY HELL EVER FINDING THIS VIDEO
