Ending a movie before a big fight.

ending a movie after a big fight

intro to the big fight is significantly longer than the big fight itself

marines are a specific branch of the army
no, the marines are their own branch of the us military.

This scene irks me for a different reason. It shows up like 20 or 30 minutes into the movie, and the ship has every protagonist introduced so far inside it. No loving way is something bad going to happen to them. All that fancy CGI means nothing if there was never any actual risk involved. And I thought the CGI was great! New Star Wars CGI is loving beautiful. The big ship battles in Rogue One were suspenseful and exciting because it wasn't clear what was going to happen -- you knew how this story ended, the plans are sent, but how this battle will go is up in the air. In this clip, not only is the outcome immediately clear (The good guys don't die and the iconic ship doesn't blow up!) but there's no suspense. It's like the whole scene was created for advertisements, which I dunno, maybe it was.

also... big fight,

big fight is longer than the intro to the big fight

casting actors who don't fit the character at all; colorblind casting in general

big fight doesn't take place before the entire movie

I'm gonna go more into detail and in the process describe every movie put out in the last couple of years

 - monster movies that focus on the humans rather than the monsters
 - revivals of an old franchise gO TO THE REAL WORLD AND ZAAAAAANY stuff HAPPENS feat. live-action characters
 - just any comedy with melissa mccarthy or any schumer, any one
 - the pointless sequel/reboot/prequel
 - s H a K y  c A m
 - movies with lazily-implemented political overtones
 - any movie with CGI
 - any movie that tries too hard to be serious or funny
 - famous person cast as voice-actor just because famous
 - obscure art film that wins allllllll the Oscars even though no one saw it
 - musical cartoon with songs that you forget after a day or two

did I leave anything out

There must be a lot of movies you don't like.
