Lego Island creator Wes Jenkins is dead - I want help in finishing lego island.

Wes Jenkins the creator of Lego Island died recently on september 24th.

I built lego island awhile ago but haven't finished it. I tried but after upgrading to a new computer my lego island CD seems to be unplayable on my computer so I can't play it to take pictures. Interest in the build kinda fell off after that.


If I get enough interest in support I'd like some people to help me finish lego island. I need custom vehicles/items/sounds/decals/misc add-ons. I need a few builders for minor stuff. I need people to take multiple screenshots of the original game.

I'd like to include actual functional minigames just like in the real game.

Still undecided if I want to use custom bricks or not.

I may have to start from scratch for the third time because I'm still determining if I should use modter or not with custom textures.

I'd like to dedicate the build in the memory of Wes Jenkins.

Tbh if it makes the build more accurate to the original, I'd use custom bricks and modter+custom textures.
I wish I could help with this in some way, but I don't even have the time to work on my own projects right now due to school.

I'd like to make it more accurate while still retaining a blocklandish feel in some way.

I already scrapped the original one to build the second one to make it more accurate.

I just found out he died it came as a shock as I spoke with him recently through email he told me he was sick but recovering smoothly.

Figured I'd finally finish Lego Island for him.

What about like wedges or something because some builds in lego island are on angles and blockland's stuffty brickgrid doesn't allow angles.

I don't know how well that would work with modter. I might need actual road bricks instead.
