Author Topic: Blender export.py not exporting?  (Read 2030 times)

I have an issue where running tendons export.py will give a "Python Fail" message and create a DETEMPSHAPE. Even though I have a Collision-1 group and detail32 group in Blender. Any help?

Shouldn't you be using Port's anyway?

Export.py makes the code for the maps. Thats what was used to make the bedroom.

Anyone? Still haven't fixed it.

It's not a very robust script.  Check that your object names won't screw it up.  Check that you aren't trying to export hidden objects.

... I guess a DETTEMPSHAPE means it stopped before it finished exporting the detail32 layer.  Maybe it's issue is with one of the objects on that layer.

True. I'll check that.

Just checked. No hidden objects. And the visual objects are on the detail32 group.

Still haven't fixed it. I tried nearly everything. I exported a map before, why doesn't it work anymore?

Fixed it, needed to reinstall ports dts exporter.

I also figured out that it doesn't work with certain models..
