My brother lost a bid on a really high quality AK-47 by 20 cents on ebay before lol. But he had a blowback Walter .45 replica and an electric G36 that was really good. So, it's probably best to stick to more expensive for now, but I'd recommend more than 2000 bb's later on because 1k goes real fast. But ye, buy a new battery instead of using the one it comes with because even though it's from Evike, odds are it's gonna have a real bad/not recommended battery.

It’s also Evike Black Friday stuff so they have 22% off coupon. The gun I linked has a battery and charger in the packaging but I guarantee you they aren't really that great. If you really want to cut cost you can use them but I wouldn't recommend it. Smart chargers are almost essential so you don't ruin your battery or ruin the household its charging in.

There's honestly no point to an RDS, especially as a new player, for an airsoft gun, unless its tuned to be really accurate (RHop, tightbore inner barrel, etc). Most people aim by the trajectory of their BB's. You can probably just get some decent iron sights if you really wanted to.
