the problem you have is that people are posting topics you're not interested in. the only practical solution is that you don't open/post in those threads.

Yes. I did come here to talk about it. There is no reason to make this many threads (there are more now) over AVGN and other youtuber videos every time they come out. There are a reason video, news, and rant megathreads exist and are possible.

So what do you want? Everybody who disagrees to just be quiet and not share their opinion on why you're wrong? This topic wouldn't have a single reply and it'd be on Page 2, hidden out of sight, because nobody agrees with you.

Maybe the "Don't Care, Don't Post" rule should be taken on a meta level and apply to this whole topic; you don't care for content that others do. I like being notified that content from subscribers (which YouTube usually buries from me) is out, and I like being able to discuss it with people from these parts, given the YouTube community is impersonal, toxic and their reply tools are just text (no images, fancy formatting and links are frowned upon).

Topics aren't flashing brightly in your face, you shouldn't be getting email notifications every time a new one is made and it's not like Badspot personally comes to you every day with an update on new threads, so I don't understand why it irritates you so much. Did somebody knock off a topic you liked with their video discussion threads?

If you want to discuss videos from a certain youtuber, couldn't you just make a megathread? It would be better for everyone, even for the people making the threads. It would create less of a divide between videos anyways - no need to make a thread every time a video comes out.

There's no reason not to, either. It doesn't really clutter the board and there's not a finite amount of threads that can be made. It's a non-issue.

You don't have the authority to police content on this forum, nor do you have the credibility to criticize it through a blanket topic. Your argument is weak and your solutions are not actionable.

If you don't like the content on this forum, consider moving on to one that entertains you. I offered you a solution to post a concise guideline on how to entertain you, but you ignored me, so it seems like you're not going to put any effort into trying to fix whatever problem you see.

I understand how I was wrong about the taste thing, sure, but creating all of these threads over the same thing again and again even in the same month is just pointless and borderline spammy.
