Im well aware without net neutrality, what little freedom we had is lost, and we return to a false sense of freedom.
A dystopia that had once been left behind.

net neutrality is like two years old stop being melodramatic

net neutrality wasn't even a law until 2014 - 2015 iirc
And the isps were testing the waters of bullstuff they could pull.
Then obama's fcc introduced net neutrality, and they couldn't throttle services/sites or just flat out block services/sites.
Now that Pai is going rogue with the FCC, and net neutrality being repealed soon, you and all your dumbass "fight for the party's perspective" friends are going to be eating their words and corporate richard when they realise they were wrong.

Imagine if 2 years after the human rights act was passed congress tried to repeal it. Would you pretend like nothing happened before the act was passed and say stupid stuff like this?

say maybe u should keep the discussion of this in that thread u made for it

is mm doing the whole 'im a liberal now' thing again

neckbeards getting defensive over their precious internet isn't the same thing as a human rights act

Dont be a fool, this would be more detrimental to conservatives than liberals. It wouldnt be conservatives censoring the internet, not in this day and age.

You clearly have no grasp on how important the internet is in the modern economy.

forget off with your "only meme sites exist" narrow mindset.
Online shopping sites could get potentially forgeted.

Isps likely wont directly block things to avoid outrage, but they will throttle things until theyre unusable.

TV is dying, and the cable companies hate it and REFUSE to adapt. Online shopping could also be axed if comcast is handed a large sum of money by other dying formats in similar fashion.

This is likely, and you need to pull your head out of your ass and realise that social media isnt the entirety of the internet.

why would isps throttle major sources of income

TV is dying

it's really not

holy heck u guys have a thread to have this argument in and it's not this one

why would isps throttle major sources of income
Ransom basically. Either Amazon could pay up or the companies that want amazon gone could pay up, either way the ISPs win, and we lose.
it's really not
It certainly loving is.
