Author Topic: Any way to add number lines in google docs?  (Read 1353 times)

Yes, that's right, number lines. Not line numbers, number lines. I need this for a math assignment, believe it or not.Who ever thought this would be the purpose?!?!?!?

I want to put a number line into a document, and I want to know how
Sorta like this

You'd have to draw it as a shape

Or put a transparent image of a number line on the page, put it in the background, and then write on it.

Why on Google Docs? Can't you just do it on a program and embed it as a picture?

My licenses for everything else are expired, and I'm too lazy to make a number line

Idk what in the world you need licenses for, but if you're too lazy for something, why are you trying to do it in GDocs?

Also you might have luck with using tables in a 2-height configuration and adjust all the various borders.

Regarding licenses, you could try LibreWriter or something.
But why can't you just paste in images? That seems like the obvious approach...

presumably he means office lol

use a site to make a number line for you and just copy paste an image of it. office and docs can be a pain in the ass sometimes but that's a golden solution to most issues

Or some proprietary graph creation software, I dunno.
