"The three DRNK Nuclear warheads and the ‘dirty bomb’ deliveries to Iran allegedly took place during the Spring of 2017. They were transported under heavy guard from Pyongyang’s Sunan International Airport on four separate North Korean regularly scheduled passenger flights of its Air Koryo airline to Iran Air at Russia’s Vladivostok airport in Russia. Whether anyone in Russa knew what the cargo bays held is weak speculation. The U.S. Treasury Department had sanctioned Air Koryo in December 2016 for financially aiding the Kim regime and its ballistic missile program. According to the IC, the Nuclear warheads were then forwarded to Tehran via Russia’s state carrier, Aeroflot, flying through Chinese airspace. All events being egregious violation of U.N. sanctions that prohibited Iran at the time from “any activity related to ballistic missiles capable of delivering nuclear weapons,” and North Korea from “exporting nuclear and missile technology."

So when do we drag our roosters over their lips

1. This, if true, is a major geopolitical event on the scale of the Cuban missile crCIA.

2. The only news source that is reporting on this is a New Zealander tabloid

3. Despite the fact that this article claims that the USIC found this, they have zero citations and I can't find any official press releases that say the same thing.

Conclusion: this is fake news

wtfff
are they shipping it over in missiles lol

I wonder why you would say that. It's not like it completely destroys the dumb stuff you said in the politics megathread
There's a lot more to it than that though. The thing that pundits like to obsess over is the fact that the deal allows Iran to pursue nuclear power, and that it releases many of its restrictions after 15 years. What they won't tell you is that the deal required:
  • Iran to cede 98% of their low-enriched uranium stockpile, which they did
  • Iran to store away 2/3 of their centrifuges
  • Iran to uninstall all their advanced centrifuges
  • Iran to cede 100% of their medium-enriched uranium stockpile
  • Iran to adhere to strict limitations on research of uranium enrichment, only permitting it in certain facilities subject to regular UN inspection

The UN inspections they agreed to are so stringent that non-compliance would be extremely obvious. If Iran's evil plan was to agree to this deal to further their quest towards nuclear weapons, then it was a terrible idea for them. They set their nukes back literally decades.

The reality here is that they didn't agree to it to get nukes. They did it because it releases the sanctions that have crippled their economy for decades. They want to become a part of the modern world economy.

I wonder why you would say that. It's not like it completely destroys the dumb stuff you said in the politics megathread
go be stupid somewhere else. major, game-changing revelations in geopolitics do not come from the kiwi version of The Examiner

literally everyone is better off if this story isn't true, and it seems like it isn't, so it's a good thing

no but you see he's gotta get one over on seventh, even if it means a major geopolitical crCIA

The only fake news I see in this thread is SeventhSandwich

Agreed on the first part but given NK’s history of batstuff insanity and russia probably being the source of a large portion of NK’s missle program I am inclined to believe it
