I was suspended for 10 days

I was suspended from school for 10 days from december 1st - 14th for distribution of marijuana on school property. I missed the 15th yesterday right before winter break to discuss the disciplinary action with the office of student conduct. my punishment after winter break is I have to have 2 random drug tests throughout the school year, and the school can test and search under reasonable suspicion. if I am caught with another offense it is most definitely expulsion and/or legal action.

these past two weeks have been probably the most stressful weeks of my life. but I am honestly relieved with the punishment I got. i'll have to clean up my act from now on.

I'm surprised they let you off with a 10-day suspension, usually for stuff like that legal action is taken and you get more serious punishments.

its an automatic 10 day suspension with any cases related to marijuana. but your right, if i was 18 i would be facing a felony with 1-5 years for distribution of marijuana on school property
