Author Topic: [forget why] BrawlBRSTMs3 X is getting terminated by youtube (stream is down???)  (Read 10751 times)

the fact that people would willingly let beautiful pieces of art be either figuratively destroyed (as in no one can listen to it and it fades into nothingness, though still existing) or be unobtainable by anyone just for the sake of ego-wank copyright laws is baffling.

unless brawlbrstms was trying to re-sell the copyright holders music or earn revenue from re-broadcasting it, there is no harm done and in fact it lets the music become more desired and popular, generating publicity about it

those who will pirate music are going to pirate it regardless of whether or not the publisher provides it for sale; unfortunately nothing can be done to stop those kinds of people. but those who actually like the music and want to listen to it are going to pay for it, because they believe in the idea that music artists deserve to be supported and financially encouraged to make more music as such

apart from this specific situation music copyright laws as they stand are absolutely disgusting. universal music group is the most bullstuffting moneygrabbing corporation of all

"sega is nice to its fans"

ego-wank copyright laws

ego-wank border enforcement
ego-wank arresting people with child research

"it isn't readily available from the publisher"

IT'S STILL NOT HIS loving MUSIC

ok i think all that nonsensical arguing is starting to get to u

how is it nonsensical that a composer should have total control over his own music

for music copyright though the composer doesn't even have rights to their own music---umg does
literally they're the ones that decide whether or not a video gets taken down off of youtube

I don't like that either, composers should have total control over everything they compose and where it shows up

if they want it to appear online, so be it, but this guy wasn't even asking any of them, I'm sure, which is why he's in the stuffhole he's in now

o i don't mean the subject is nonsensical
the arguing ur doing itself is nonsensical because there was no reason for it to happen yet u seemed awfully insistent to start one, perhaps i should've just said "unneeded" instead
u've done this before in other threads too, which is why i'm bringing it up
but don't take it too seriously i was being a bit jokey about it :p

danny b abandoned edmund for a reason most likely especially since he made all the music for crypt of the necrodancer and has returned for amplified..
