Author Topic: Forum clock is slow  (Read 1865 times)

Has anyone noticed that the time at the top of pages and on posts is slowly drifting behind? It used to be 3 minutes slow, now it's around 5 minutes. Hopefully it doesn't fall back into 2017.

Borrowed time is running out

Maybe we can go back all the way to when we had maps

---edit---
Probably has something to do with the fact that the forums are running off of SMF 1.1.20 and the newest version is 2.0.15

hm dang i mean i did notice that it was behind by around 3 minutes after the forum got a new harddrive, and noticed that when i posted about it being 2018 that it was about 5 minutes behind, but i didn't think much of it

wonder why it's slightly slow and by how much then..? like a second or two?? a minute??? i don't feel like doing math right now so maybe someone else could figure this out

just like everybody here

You can add decimals to your time offset to fix that, 1.07 seems to work for me

Thanks. 1.08 looks a little more accurate to me.

I think the clock is fundamentally slow in counting seconds, I'll set my offset to near-perfection then a few weeks later it's off again!! time keeps on slippin slippin...

There is a clock on the taskbar

post times get their time from the forum clock... its not as useless as you think...
