add a generic flashlight bike mount for maybe like $10-20.

its EXTREMELY bright on its highest modes (on the same level as high beam from car headlights), and all around a fantastic flashlight. generally i just use it on setting 2 for most visibility.

this p much

It looked good untill I saw "strobe" I really don't care for multi brightness levels but I downright can't stand a strobe setting

use a bike horn as a source of light to illuminate your path

what about in the case that i have no choice
like the million times ive had to bike home from work at 11pm???

i liked brightness adjustment on my 900lumen light i used to have since i didn't need it that bright all the time (and it would eat the battery like nothing)

its an emergency thing, you have to press and hold the power button for 3 seconds and then it starts. stops as soon as you let it go, so its not a “setting”

gist being you flash that stuff in some attacker’s eyes and they cant see stuff anymore

battery life on that flashlight is super long. at setting 2 it can easily go for 3-4 hours straight. even when low on power setting 1 is always still there.

when i biked regularly at night, i only needed to charge the thing once every few weeks, sometimes once a month only

Well that does make it better, I specifically dislike the "cycle through 4 functions by clicking 8 times" type, partly because I'm obligated to cycle it back to the beginning every time, just from personal preference.

I bought one of those sticky-backed AAA battery lights that go in a closet or under a kitchen cabinet...
and it had a strobe, I lost hope for humanity that day.

i have seen a bunch of night bikers with strobe lights recently
like what the forget. we see you
