there was a huge issue over a plugin that literally stole user data. that's enough to keep me away from that stuff permanently

why did you need to modify the default theme? the only remotely good one was the metro-style one that's existed forever, all you did was change some colors and text and add a background
the blue text on black is an eyesore, and why it doesn't match up with the white is a loving mystery to me

it's equally as annoying seeing someone make a drama or looking at a sig and it doesn't match the vanilla theme which is what it should be anyways

The black on blue text is for contrast - it's only in posts because it helps me point out mistakes better. It's not much of an eyesore on my screen.

I want my answer to be solved and I saw it veer in a direction I did not want it to because of my mistake - you just want to continue it.. This is a plugin you're talking about - everything you modularly install onto betterdiscord or anything for that matter holds a security risk. Anything you volunteer to add on is not apart of betterdiscord. You have to CHOOSE to add it in.

A normal example of an ad is a banner ad - an image at the side of the page which doesn't interfere with any of the elements, or obstruct the view. That's not a red flag. What I saw was.

this website also seems to have a history of being involved with raidforums, a site dedicated to learning how to raid discords, dox and more, so tbh i'm not surprised it's sketchy in the first place
