The problem is that some of them are also too much work, not a lot of people want to make a ton of things for free anymore; or some of them are really difficult (or impossible) to make, people don't want to put too much time into free projects
I wish I had motivation to make bigger projects (free) but I've been doing the same thing for many years and haven't made any money out of my potential, this is why I no longer make projects for anyone anymore unless there's something of value involved (also a decision since I am pretty busy now)
Don't get me wrong there's a lot of good ideas in S&R, but it's hard to put a lot of time into something when you don't get anything of value from it after a while (other than experience) - I avoid posting in S&R for some topics because I'll basically say "hey that's a good idea" but people will either think I might make it or the comment is just completely useless, most of the time S&R has good topics that don't really need anything to add onto them unless the topic is vague. I'm sorry that people don't have interest in making those requests.
