Author Topic: why did you stop playing blockland?  (Read 3840 times)

i know a lot of people here don't play the game anymore but go on the forums a lot (like me). why did you stop playing?

for me, i used to play the game with a few friends i met in 2010, but they stopped playing around 2012 or so. i always kinda wanted to get back into building but it's no fun playing alone.

Procrastination on my own projects.

the only times I have ever stopped playing are when I lost internet - even then I still worked on mods in singleplayer and LAN tho

BLOCKLAND 4 EVER!

Never had any consistent ideas for projects that I could see through. With nothing to build that really interests me and isn't some huge undertaking I really just didn't feel motivated to play anymore.

Plus I'm busier now than I was when I was 14 so I usually try to find better ways to spend my free time.

Plus I'm not really friends with any of the people I used to play with anymore. And even if they do, I usually can't remember their names. I'm more likely to remember outdated names. Where have you gone Sun_Monocle?

Mainly because real life, work, and girlfriends caught up with me. I suck as a builder as well, my computer ain't stuff, and most of my friends moved on as well. If someone would like mess around today though I'd be down to see if it works.

What do you mean "stopped playing"...

lost general interest over the years
occasionally i'll boot it up and maybe join some random populated servers, but other than that i just don't really play it anymore

timezone too different for me, i'd have to stay up or wake up early in the morning to get the juicy stuff from the game

I've taken breaks, sure.
But there is no "stopping" when playing blockland.

It's honestly weird as forget some of you are active on a forum for a game you don't even play. Go back to Reddit cigarettes.

Blockland is a game that uncreative people stop playing.
