Hey I wanted to change my forum avatar lately to something else, had this for like 3 years, but when ever I try i get Generic Error.

The image is 75x75 and I tried the 74x74 trick but nothing is working, any ideas?

yeah I can't change mine either, I've tried with various images and it doesn't work

make sure the file size does not exceed 200 KB and try again

F5/ctrl F5 may do the trick

only works if the avatar uploads successfully and doesn't seem to change after refreshing the page

shift+f5 works as well

Ah I realized this. Try different image editing apps such as paint.net, remove as much metadata possible
