i just use
Code: [Select]
import /path/to/file
it isnt that hard

...uh, yeah. Mine does that too
well yes, but the point hes trying to make is that sharex is far more convenient and faster.
with snipping tool you have to snip (with far less precision then sharex allows you to), save the file manually, go onto imgur or some other filehost, upload the file, manually copy the URL.
with sharex, you just press a key combo, snip a part of your screen and thats it.
the image is saved to your computer (optionally) and is uploaded with the URL being sent to your clipboard (also optionally - if you turn uploading off it'l just send the raw image to your clipboard). sharex also allows you to do very quick edits before even finalising the snip, such as blurring out parts, resizing, adding text/arrows, etc.
sharex also has some other handy features such as automatic url shortening (if thats a thing youd want), tools such as grabbing colors/HEX codes from your screen and even recognising text from an image (changing it into raw text).

of course, though, this all depends on if youd find any of this useful or not. it would depend on how many screencaps you actually do too.

FYI, you can use leopard.hosting to host your images and files from ShareX because it supports custom upload configurations.

https://leopard.hosting/dl/xkiop/Leopard_Hosting.sxcu

If you have ShareX installed, you can just double click this file and it'll add leopard.hosting as a destination on ShareX.

To be fair, I'm finding myself needing a lot more gifs and my tools aren't cutting it.
I might want to look into this further than immediate rejection.
