Right, Martin was specifically against this kind of advertising.

So Dodge takes his speech and cut and pastes it so it's out of context to advertise their truck. lol

It's so ironic.

What you people don't get is that his original speech was AGAINST this kind of advertising.

Dodge took that speech and cut and pasted it out of context to sell their trucks.

If MLK were alive he would never agree with this. This entire commercial contradicts his original speech against this kind of advertising.

does anybody give a stuff if mlk made a speech where he tells you to buy some stupid forgetin truck

does anybody give a stuff if mlk made a speech where he tells you to buy some stupid forgetin truck

Guess you're not getting it.

The original speech was pointing out about corporate greed and the need to constantly buy things.

Dodge flips those words and turns it into a truck commercial.

Do you not understand how sleazy our society is getting?

This is where america is at now. This is the peak of capitalism.
better change that name, tony. communists ain't too fond of royalty y'know

Communism and capitalism both don't work.

We are slowly seeing why capitalism is killing this country

what the forget. capitalism works under strict but fair regulations, the regulations that the people you vote for are getting axed in favor of hyper-capitalism, which will overall forget over everyone but the people who are already ridiculously rich. it sounds like communist stuff, but you need a healthy balance of socialist regulations to improve the quality of life and spending power of the population, competitive regulations to restrict monopolistic and anti-consumer activities, and opportunity regulations to encourage new businesses and growth.

the problem is lobbyists hired by monopolistic corporate pigs payrolling republicans to incite fear upon their dumb white populace in order to get rid of monopoly restricting regulations.

smaller government = less problems for the rich = the poor grow more ignorant

in the end it just becomes an oligarchy
