People can cry about it all they loving want. In the end, the world is going down the stuffter and there is actually no hope of being able to turn this backwards twisted stuff-stained society around. People are arrogant and don't care to change their opinions, nor listen to any minute quantity of reason.
The problem is, all these little welfare check pinchers get bored sitting at home doing nothing all day, so they need something to complain about. That's how BLM started, that's the whole "equal rights" movement and all these other bullstuff movements. So it would only make sense they want to boycott a game and its developers. They'll just never realize it won't change anything. It's not 1930 anymore, you can't starve yourself in public and expect anybody to actually care.
