3D Gaming on on non-3d vision ready monitor (144hz) without 3D Vision Kit.

I recently got the XPAND 3D Glasses Lite (RF)
It claimed to work with bluetooth, I have bluetooth.
I have an XL2430T 144hz BenQ monitor.
This monitor isn't technically 3D-Vision ready, but it meets all the requirements to do 3D.

my glasses won't pair, and Nvidia is a picky bitch.

Wtf am I doing wrong?

because your monitor isn't a active 3D monitor.  these glasses are meant for active 3D TVs.

you can't make a non-3D monitor a 3D one, unless you wanna go the blue/red route.

this cant be real

/agree

nvidia isn't a picky bitch, it's literally telling you "lol dumbass i can't force active 3D on your monitor"

i will add my TV confuses windows display settings with "3D mode off" even though my TV is just a normal budget vizio.

is this the average IQ of a spyro fan

but it supports the strobe-light type backlight that a 3D monitor needs to work
so it can work as an active 3D monitor, yes?

How tf has tech changed i just watched a video from the old ncix tech tips where all they needed was a 120hz monitor, ir sensor, ir active 3d shutter glasses. Done.
None of this "3d ready" bullstuff.

I thought active monitors were the default because the glasses did the work mostly, and the monitor
helped with that strobe backlight effect.
Either way if I'm wrong this would make things a lot simpler.
