I want to make a cornfield, but with detailed corn the brickcount ends up skyrocketing. What would be the best looking cornfield with the lowest brickcount?

Using a corn brick like in DrenDran's farming servers would be the lowest brickcount way to do this.

ive ran into this before
yellow/tan 1x5 bricks are probably your best bet

i made a corn maze not too long ago using round bricks / plant bricks. it's not the most efficient way to make a corn field, but its still less brick intensive than a lot of other methods and it still looks good.

comes out to approx 3-5 bricks a stalk, 8 max

I actually just opted for 1x1x5 and a 1x1 round on the top.



From overhead it doesn't look too great, but from the side it's pretty ok.
