That makes it better because it's like the original trilogy

soundclown community probably includes a lot of white people

The movie isn't even out yet how are you going to defend the fact that the writing is bad if nobody has seen it at all?

Are any of the writers and directors announced for the movie yet? If it's the same offenders from the previous movies, you do not need to hold your breath for a good star wars film.

Screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan, It's being directed by Ron Howard, who took it over from Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. Honestly that's what makes me very apprehensive about this movie, i like lord and miller and them being booted out for a director who has a completely opposite style... i dunno. Plus, how many times has a director change gone right? Look at the hobbit

I've watched all of the recent star wars film so far, and all of them are good by my standards. I don't understand what is so "bad" about the newer ones, people not liking that Disney makes them? They look good, sound great, and the actors are doing a pretty okay job. I like to see where they take the story, no matter how terrible of a place they take it might be.

E;R does some great reviews into why the new Star Wars films are doing nothing but puppeting around the old corpses of the previous movies, much better than I can explain in a short span of time:

The Force Awakens

Rogue One

The Last Jedi

He also talks about the behind the scenes stuff that goes on too, which is really important for understanding why Disney wants to ride this cash cow until it's udders turn into black charcoal briquettes. And to quote Red Letter Media, there isn't really much to go to from here, or at least any sort of interesting hooks left.

I guess i just don't really care about small details and just enjoy the movie.

I mean they aren't small details by any means

Brainlets stumped

im sure the guy makes good points but i find this editing and style of ironic detachment and rapid fire jokes to be insufferable. Feel like he's afraid of making a point so he just injects tons of random goofs so there's no danger of his actual voice getting out there and being criticized. Also everyone on earth needs to ditch the stock record scratch effect, it's as corny as they come

expecting people to watch 2 hrs of content just to see your point is a bit much. you should have just summarized the general argument with the primary/strongest points, which you should know if you really did watch those videos.

I liked a few of the characters. But they're new and in a prequel.
So they prolly die just like in Rogue One

It might be alright.
