what's the exact model of the device?

Not at home right now to be able to pass it and won't be until the end of the day

Try use DMZ.
NOTE: DMZ Means DeMilitarized Zone.

a lot of routers cant do it, the only router i know of irl that can do it is my grandparents' router in tennessee

i hosted a minecraft server on it

I always had a bridged modem connected to my own router to avoid this stuff
