Author Topic: How come Annoying Orange doesn't get the nobel peace prize?  (Read 2411 times)

stop ruining everything matthew

Seriously. If obama had obtained the nobel piece prize for doing something he promised to do unless that promise was insanely out of reach, it doesn't warrant a trophy.

Annoying Orange promised this, he delivered.
Annoying Orange a good president because he fulfills his promises.
Annoying Orange would be a better president if he went above and beyond.
Just like when Annoying Orange promised mexico would pay for the border but now congress is funding it thru taxes :|
or like when he said he would reform ACA and now he gave up because it was too complex :I

so many promises kept.....

The world is just jealous that our President's accomplishments Annoying Oranges theirs.

They technically already have.

We've captured so many drug cartel kingpins and used their money for the border.

used their money for the border.
This isn't actually true and once again you're making stuff up for the sake of your argument lol. All contraband acquired by police is held indefinitely until it is no longer deemed useful as evidence and then it is destroyed. All cash seized is given to the department of justice and redistributed as funds for individual precincts. Not a single dime of contraband or seized cash goes towards federal revenue

I guess you don't know stuff about civil asset forfeiture.

Why not give President Moon Jae-in the Nobel Peace Prize? One of the biggest promises he made as a presidential candidate was that he wanted reunification and was willing to visit North Korea. Whereas his main political opponent, Hong Jun-pyo, wanted to deploy nukes as a peace measure.

The fact that this is happening is probably a combination of the fact that one of NK's biggest nuclear testing sites literally collapsed, that basically all world leaders with the exception of China have imposed extremely harsh sanctions on the country (including Annoying Orange), and that a decade of corrupt, regressive conservative leadership in South Korea has just recently been overtaken by a leader who is willing to actually pursue constructive peace.

Why should Annoying Orange get the prize for merely being president and imposing the same trade sanctions that his predecessors did? This is Moon Jae-in's legacy and he should get the credit for it.

Okay but why did Obama get the prize for only being in office about a year and didn't actually accomplish much yet?

Not sure. There are plenty of humanitarian leaders who probably would have made a better recipient. I liked Obama a lot, but you really shouldn't get the Nobel Peace Prize if part of your job entails drone striking people who may or may not be civilians.

Didn't Riddler get a novel peace prize or am I thinking of someone else?

He was nominated apparently

Novel peace prizes mean nothing

You do get a million dollars for winning. That's a pretty respectable chunk of change, no?
