How can I make prints look more like ancient carvings?

I'm trying to make these prints look like ancient carvings but I think I am missing something. They don't really look like something that came out of an ancient temple.

most ancient carvings are just outlines and they aren't 3d

try looking at some references on google old egypt ones are a good point

So this time I didn't add the ramp texture.

I'm not sure if that makes it look less like a carving.

It's just an outline, no textures.

that is definitely not just an outline and its also still 3d

So like this then?

I think I got it now, how does this look?

aka dont emboss it, just make the outline be rough. look up cave drawings and you can see that they aren't engraved into the stone, they're crudely drawn on.

I don't think I can do that I'm only working with paint.net

thicker embossment, presumably the same thickness as the edges of bricks

make the chiseled inside the texture of ramps (that rough surface texture)

So I'm going to keep both the engraved and the other one.

Because the other one looks good on glass.

I might have to make it look more frosted though.
