Me and Mcjob discussed a similar topic a while ago actually, he disagreed with EA's sims expansions if I remember but then he forgetin choke slammed me and educated me about how AAA companies work their ass off and stuff like that

are you just not aware of whats gone on in GTA Online? that game's ridiculously monetized. if your criticism of EA's owning of The Sims is that they milk it too much, R*'d do the same thing.

also rockstar have 0 experience doing this type of game, and they hire some of least funny writers around.

Talking more about the single player aspects, I don't think they'd actually do the same. I was talking to people on modthesims about this and someone brought up a suggestion that Blizzard would do a job with the series
