maybe i should've said A Sense Of Purpose because after that it's literally not In Flames anymore and isn't even close to melodic death metal any more (and also i kind of liked it) but the snare in Come Clarity/Soundtrack to Your Escape is so loving bad it just ruins the albums

Guess I never really noticed/cared until now, but I guess the tinny tail end to it can be annoying. Otherwise, the punch and mix is great. To me, the guitar tone on that album is loving massive and a perfect example of a thick bed of distortion. As a guitarist, I pay a good amount of attention to the guitars in music.
