For ants and bees there is a queen that only makes males which are drones.
very rarely do they make a female unless they intent to replace the queen.
so is steven universe led by a male gem? Is this the reverse of bees and ants?
Yes I get that the gems are genderless but they all refer to themselves as she which is weird as forget.
