All we know is that it was from a CD. For all we know, no one has ever archived it online, never to be found again.

some of the sounds in blockland have the credit "Aludra Software 1998", and badspot mentioned that it came from a cd

this song was made only 3 years before the sound file credits, so it could just be music that aludra software put on the disc

also has anyone thought of just asking badspot what the cd name was or if he still has it

It's from a royalty free sound effects CD I bought in compUSA in like 1995.  It's part of some other sound effect libraries too, that's why it shows up in other places sometimes.
