Yeah, apparently Justin Roiland is a complete starfish, and people theorize he does this stuff to screw with his fans.
Rick and Morty will probably be the Next Family Guy/Simpsons.

Where people long for the "good ol' days" when the show was "good". Then they realize either the show was always stuff, or the show should have just died and it will never be as good as it once was.

I think R&M is in Category 1 tbh.

I'm excited. Rick & Morty does a great job at mixing up sci-fi and animation cliches into really interesting episodes. Tactical Nuke is right that the series doesn't commit to an overarching story, but that's fine IMO since the episodes tend to be pretty modular.
