lack of punishment for poor play.
lack of reward, whether it be satisfaction or an in-game bonus, for skilled play.
This so much.
In so many games, one in particular recently called Bellum.IO, I had discussed with a dev about why people should be not be punished for defending and should be punished for attacking. A debuff of sorts when you go around conquering empires willy nilly.
What he said was "well u shoukd have attacked first lmao" and that was what the rest of the argument consisted of.
The second memorable one was tf2 in 2015ish. The Baby Face' Blaster was literally unkillable and everyone who had it made the other team have like 3 heavies holding back all five pink and lime Scouts with BBB running around and getting 12+ killstreaks with no effort.
Third one is every game with an armor system. Literally equip 28 packs of level 800 armor and you can't be killed.
CSGO doesn't punish for bad play, pushing is extremely encouraged even though you can die from it. Why? The AK is singlehandedly the most OP offensive weapon in the game next to the PPBizon which slows you down to the point of not being able to move out of fire. The onetap kills are BS for offensive and are meant to be defensive. Hmm..
