[Tech Nerds] DisplayPort 1.2 passive adaptors

I have DisplayPort 1.2 on my PC but one of my monitors has DVI, VGA and a second monitor has VGA and HDMI. What are legit passive DisplayPort adaptors? My country has the tendancy to adapt everything, even fake af stuff like aux to VGA to get you to buy it.

you need to buy a dp to aux and an aux to midi and a midi to composit and a composit to vga adapter. simple enough

DVI / HDMI to DisplayPort, since those plugs act similarly

VGA is brown townog signal, while DVI / HDMI / DP are digital

buy the one that makes ur pc work

Erm okay on the DP to the HDMI but I have a passive DVI-VGA adaptor that works
if DVI is digital and VGA brown townog, how does it work?

DVI isn't strictly digital; it is (or at least was) fairly common to see GPUs feature at least one DVI-I port, which supports both digital and brown townog signal output. DVI-D is the DVI type that only supports digital signals. More about the two DVI types here if you're interested.

Aha so my GPU's DVI port must be a DVI-I
So the DisplayPorts can only be converted to HDMI or DVI-D, good to know

Both of my 1080 Ti's came with a DisplayPort to DVI adapter and they work fine.
