My phone is very hot, what should I do?

So I've been charging my Samsung S7 Edge, because the battery life sucks and I need to communicate with the outside world, but now it's very hot. I can't even touch it, I have to use heat-resistant gloves to pick it up. I've tried about everything, I put it in a cooler for about 15 minutes, but when I took it out it was hotter than it was before. I tried turning it off, and on, but it's still hot. I tried to put it in the fridge, the freezer, nothing. I put it on a Weegee board and it just sat there. My warranty is non-existant, and I don't really want to buy a new phone. Also now, just now, the screen cracked and its making weird sounds.
what do i do?
