Author Topic: What's the best way to advertise a server?  (Read 2114 times)

What's your best way to spread the word to others about your server, and which days are best to gain players?

idk about advertising, but the weekend is the best time for players

Mak big post, enclud gud pikchur. hab gud naem

When you make the server thread in General Discussion, add a server image which shows the activity of the server. Pecon’s Boss Battle thread uses one of these.

Along with making the server thread, post a message about it on the #advertising section of the bcc discord.

Once you start hosting, grab a few friends to stay on the server for a bit. Once the player count is noticable, other people looking for servers will join and make the server popular.

Where can I get a server image?

If you look at the URL of the image, you'll see some things here.
https://serverstatus.block.land/?h=Boss%20Battles&t=3

You have h=, which is the name of the host. So if your in-game name is CBlock360, you'd do https://serverstatus.block.land/?h=CBlock360&?t=3

the t=3 is just the type of image it is. There's a few different formats for it.

Thanks!
Edit: I did that and I turned on my server, but it appears to not work. It still says it's closed.

But, what if I were to spawn in my own self and disguise them as my own players? Mhhmhm... Very Devilish Cblock...

The link shift kitty provided is a little more complicated than what it actually is.
This is the same thing but simpler.
