has anyone else noticed this
haven't seen any topics on it so

someone said before the option to turn it off does exist but is more hidden. can someone give instructions?

there used to be an option to disable it, but maybe baddy got rid of that to make us pay for our sins

the ads aren't terribly intrusive tho so I don't mind them

I heard some news about that, dunno if it's been deployed to normal chrome, but yes there was some story about chrome canary integrating a default adblocker
