Because being deaf to reason, rather than blind to reality, is the only logical choice.

Honestly Hellen kellar wasn't that bad off, she can't see or hear but she can still smell where she's going and taste if she's going the right direction... And if brothers try to talk to her all she gotta do is feel that brothers lips... So simple

People are here like oh Hellen Keller was a hero how she overcome her illness but tbh it wasn't even that hard
