i feel like the internet has gotten a lot more commercialised in the past few years. Literally 80% of online traffic is through big websites like reddit, facebook or youtube and most people don't even know about the rest of the internet.
Back in the day I used to visit so many different communities in one day of internet use now I feel like I only refresh reddit and it's annoying me because there's less of a feel of community because there is hundreds of thousands of people commenting/upvoting.
This is part of why I cling to this forum for dear life, it's a small community of people I know and love and have spent 10 years with.
but anyways, straight to my point: what are some niche or small websites you visit frequently? I love small communities that are the underbelly of the web.
