wanting to go to a school in the state above me

i used to go there and stayed with my grandparents but the school found out my dad lived in a different state and now im going to a school that has standards a year below mine back home, meaning im basically redoing last year. i figure i pitch the idea of using a family members address in the old schools zone and just wake up about 5:00 am to get ready and leave at 5:15. we only live an hour or two away so i could make it work. what do you guys think?
