that being said, kavanaugh's own comments on his love for drinking alcohol, combined with eyewitness testimony from his college friends saying he often would have too much to drink, is not going to do his case any favors. i feel bad for him having to be so slanderously accused and disgraced on a national stage like this, but i also feel he's kind of deserving it for choosing to live and promote a harmful and dangerous lifestyle (a lifestyle of continuous drinking) that tears apart countless families and is one of the leading causes of car crashes and domestic abuse.

I'm all for an FBI investigation. This is more than highly likely going to make the democratic party look like complete fools, along with eventually leading to many of the false accusers being charged and Michael aldrehowever the forget you spell his name get debarred. completely awesome.

i'll be the first to admit i've watched little to nothing from the actual hearings because frankly i don't really have the time or want to watch people arguing in circles for hours on end. however in the early 2000s hearings that happened he said he didn't receive the docs that miranda stole from the democrats way back when, except now there's proof he did (that's really the only thing relevant here). should've said misled instead of lied because, although he did legally lie under oath, the big thing is that he's being subversive with his responses and denying investigation requests with the FBI

You can't be proven 100% innocent, you're just assumed to be innocent in the court of law until you're proven guilty. Outside the court, you are whatever the the forget the public believes you are unless shown elsewise. That's why suing for libel / slander is a thing, to get on top of anything that would affect public opinion before it damages your reputation or brand.

Let's say Kavanaugh was completely innocent, there's no reason for him not to want there to be a curated investigation into the matters. This way, there can't be any theoretical "Witch hunt", and his reputation doesn't get slain.
