hopefully its better than my loving ceNturyLinkK

i've been following this for a while now

the only setback is the massive amounts of capital you need for a 4000 satellite constellation in LEO

mmh idk about the whole one company part

elon must buys and then deletes liberalism

"you know i had to do it to those clinton brothers" says elon

That is a whole lot of satellites..
Also would be an interesting way to enter the ISP market from a literal different angle.

< Elon Musk
< Major Setback is money

It's over, Internet 2 is coming.

Why not just use 4 megasats arranged in a three dimensional triangular synched orbit around Earth?

spacex itself needs to fulfill a lot more govt contracts to be able to put 10 billion dollars worth of satellites in space

they have proof that it works, the government benefits, and the company has influence. im sure they’ll get the money over a reasonable amount of time

the best thing that they have going for them is that their reusability allows them to launch rockets at a cost subsidized by their customers launch OR they can just be a secondary payload for most launches

its brilliant

I'll believe it when I see it.

they have two test satellites in orbit right now lol, if you give me your long/lat ill enter it into https://www.n2yo.com/ and see when the sats are passing above you. If they pass at dawn/dusk you could probably catch them glimmer in the sunlight in the sky

Two satellites is hardly a starlink constellation. "I'll believe it when I see it" implies that I don't believe they'll succeed until they have succeeded or are close to succeeding.
